Chapter 4
As soon as I opened the door, the two people in the outer office looked at me simultaneously.
Mu Lingze was sitting at her desk, with Zhao Chenyu next to her, helping her organize a document. Judging from their current appearance, they must have had a pleasant conversation earlier.
“What’s wrong?” Mu Lingze asked. Zhao Chenyu, who was next to him, seemed to have thought of something, and his eyes showed a hint of tension.
“It’s alright, Zhao Chenyu, come in.”
Inside the office, Zhao Chenyu stood outside the boss’s desk.
“Hello, Ms. Lan.” Zhao Chenyu greeted her first, whether it was because he was no longer nervous or because he had given up hope.
“What’s your name again?” Aunt Ouyang asked. I was speechless when I heard this question, but Aunt Ouyang really didn’t pay much attention to people she didn’t care about.
“President Lan, my name is Zhao Chenyu.”
“Where are you from?”
“From Dongshan.”
“From Dongshan?” Aunt Ouyang looked him up and down, somewhat puzzled.
“Yes, it’s Dongshan Island,” he said again.
“Yes, you can drive, right?” Aunt Ouyang asked.
[Aunt Ouyang, you didn’t listen to a word he said when he introduced you before!]
“Yes, B2.” Zhao Chenyu’s eyes showed less panic and more interest; clearly, if someone asked him this, there was hope.
“Do you have time to go to work?”
“I have time, I don’t have any classes right now.” His tone was clearly excited, and he gave me a grateful look, probably thinking that I had privately tried to persuade him—but I really hadn’t.
“How’s your alcohol tolerance?”
“It’s alright. Where I’m from, there are banquets where people drink for an entire afternoon,” he said.
“Give it a try.” Aunt Ouyang took a bunch of keys out of the drawer and tossed them to Zhao Chenyu.
Zhao Chenyu looked at the Panamera key in his hand, and immediately began to hold it in his hands.
Aunt Ouyang tidied up, and we went downstairs, which naturally attracted a lot of attention. Zhao Chenyu, who had been hunched over and following behind us, straightened his back.
When we arrived at the parking lot, we walked up to a red Panamera. Aunt Ouyang stood next to me, arms crossed, looking at me.
Zhao Chenyu concealed the glint in his eyes, hurriedly pressed the unlock button, and went to the passenger side to open the door for Aunt Ouyang, but Aunt Ouyang and I sat in the back instead.
Zhao Chenyu felt a little awkward, but he quickly recovered and hurriedly ran to the driver’s seat, gently stroking the steering wheel.
“Will it be open?” Aunt Ouyang asked.
“Uh—ah, yes!” Zhao Chenyu composed himself, calmed down, and started the car.
Aunt Ouyang and I were in the back seat. Aunt Ouyang pulled my hand over, and her slender, jade-like fingers, adorned with red nail polish, naturally intertwined with mine. Aunt Ouyang often did this, but as soon as we intertwined, she seemed to remember something and then let go of my hand.
I turned my head to look at Aunt Ouyang, and then subconsciously glanced at the rearview mirror—”Zhao Chenyu probably didn’t see it.”
“Let’s go to ** Restaurant,” Aunt Ouyang said.
“Okay, Ms. Lan~”.
Zhao Chenyu, that kid, gets into character pretty quickly.
When we arrived and entered the private room, I immediately understood why Aunt Ouyang hadn’t wanted to come. Several fat, burly men were shamelessly trying to shake her hand. I really don’t know what Uncle Qin was thinking.
Then Aunt Ouyang pushed Zhao Chenyu forward, saying that he was the company’s new supervisor. On the way there, Aunt Ouyang had already explained to Zhao Chenyu why she had brought him here.
I looked at Zhao Chenyu’s dark yellow skin, his small eyes squinting as he skillfully greeted everyone, just like Aunt Ouyang. Although I felt extremely uncomfortable, I had to admit that this kind of person was exactly the kind of person who should be in this situation.
After a few rounds of drinks…
Holy crap! This guy’s ruthless!
I was amazed. I only knew Zhao Chenyu could drink, but I never imagined he could drink this much. It’s like he rinses his mouth with strong liquor and quenches his thirst with beer. The whole table of people had already gone through several rounds of drinks.
Looking at his dark, reddish complexion, I could see that even though his speech was already slurred, he was still spouting off a string of clever words. I even wondered if he had been learning these kinds of “drunken phrases” in school.
“Ah—General Manager Chen, let me tell you, it’s really lucky to work under General Manager Lan. General Manager Lan is perfect in treating his employees and partners. Don’t you think so? Come on, a man who doesn’t drink is wasting his life. I’ll drink this, you can just take a sip.” After saying that, he finished his drink.
Aunt Ouyang and I just watched him. When Aunt Ouyang first came, she was frowning, but after Zhao Chenyu blocked her drinks in various ways, she returned to normal, and her gaze towards Zhao Chenyu softened a bit.
I didn’t drink a drop because we had agreed on the drinks in the car, and when I introduced myself, I said I was the driver…
I f***ing…
That’s all we can do.
…
“You all continue eating. I have something to do this afternoon, so I’ll be leaving now. Xuanyu, Chenyu, let’s go.” Aunt Ouyang got up and left when she saw that it was almost time.
“Great job, Ms. Lan! I’ll need your continued guidance in the future!”
“Take care, Ms. Lan.”
Some blushing old foxes helped Aunt Ouyang out of the private room, while I carried “Manager Zhao” and sat in the back seat of the Panamera.
“Oh my god! He’s so heavy!” I tossed him into the car, while Aunt Ouyang got into the driver’s seat.
“Vroom!” The car started.
Zhao Chenyu, who was lying there “half-dead” just a moment ago, suddenly woke up after shaking his head, which confused me.
“Are you…are you alright?” I asked.
“Ah… uh, I’m a little dizzy, it’s nothing serious.” He pinched his brow again and said to me, his tone no longer slurred or hesitant as before.
“You…you can still drink, can you?” I asked.
“It’s alright. Although I can drink a lot, I can’t really drink myself to death, senior. Drink when you should, and pretend when you should.” He said with a grin, but when he saw Aunt Ouyang driving in front, he immediately stopped grinning.
“Your performance was alright,” Aunt Ouyang said calmly.
“It’s my honor to help you fend off drinks. You can put a line on your resume that you’ve attended a banquet with a famous local entrepreneur, hehe.” Zhao Chenyu seemed to have suddenly become less nervous.
“Haha,” I laughed out loud. Looking at Aunt Ouyang in the rearview mirror, I could see that she was also amused.
A short while later, we arrived near the school gate. Zhao Chenyu and I got out of the car, and Aunt Ouyang rolled down the window and said to me, “Have him come to start work tomorrow.”
Before Zhao Chenyu could reply, she rolled up the car window and sped away from our sight.
I was still looking in the direction Aunt Ouyang left when someone grabbed my hand. I looked up and saw Zhao Chenyu, his face flushed with excitement.
“Senior, thank you so much! I thought you wouldn’t care, or you’d just ignore me and brush me off. I didn’t expect you to be so kind. Thank you, senior.” Zhao Chenyu held my hand and shook it vigorously.
I could only deal with him, I thought to myself.
I really was just trying to fool you, but I never expected you to run into such a good thing.
Back in the lab, I was still marveling at this.
Well, I guess he was just lucky. Oh well, it’s nothing anyway.
…
I saw Jingyan at the entrance of the building after leaving the lab in the afternoon.
She wore a deep blue retro Hong Kong-style shirt, like ripples on the ocean, carrying the charm of bygone days. She paired it with a dark gray-brown A-line pencil skirt, exuding elegance with a touch of alluring temptation. A thin black belt cinched her waist, from which hung a delicate doll, seemingly telling a fairytale from a young girl’s heart. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall, dancing lightly in the wind, her long, slender legs swaying gracefully. She wore a pair of black, oversized British-style shoes. She was like a cultured young woman who had gracefully stepped out of a library brimming with wisdom, carrying a hazy fragrance of books and the breath of youth.
It was break time, and although everyone was rushing around, almost everyone’s gaze lingered on Jingyan for a moment. I had only taken two steps when I even saw two freshmen pointing their phones at her, probably trying to get her contact information.
I quietly walked up behind her, suddenly covered her eyes, and said in a high-pitched voice, “Guess who I am?”
“Ah! You…you’re the big bad wolf!” Jingyan was startled, then used her soft hands to pry my hands open and shouted.
“Hehe~ The big bad wolf is going to eat the little lamb~” I leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear.
“I hate you!” Jingyan yanked my hand away, turned around and slapped my chest twice, saying, “Look at you, you’ve ruined all the mascara and eye makeup I painstakingly did.”
“Even without makeup, you’re still the most beautiful woman in the world!” I said as I walked, holding her hand.
“Okay, let’s go, Mom and the others should be home already.” Jingyan pulled me forward instead.
As soon as we stepped out of the school gate, we saw a familiar red Panamera. We smiled at each other and walked towards the car.
Just two or three steps from the vehicle, the driver’s side door suddenly opened a crack, and the toes of a foot clad in a black stiletto heel gracefully peeked out, lightly touching the door as if to her own prelude to a glamorous entrance. As the door slowly opened, a long, shapely leg in black stockings was gradually revealed. The sheer black stockings clung tightly to the delicate white instep, calves, and thighs, creating an atmosphere of unparalleled sensuality.
The crisp “click” of high heels hitting the ground echoed in the air. Beneath the black stockings, the muscles of her beautiful legs were taut and powerful, displaying a breathtaking dynamic beauty. Just as this perfect leg line was about to fade, the scene shifted again. Another equally alluring long leg stepped out of the car, echoing the previous one. The beauty in the driver’s seat finally unveiled her mystery. She wore a deep black, tight-fitting bodycon dress, adorned with starlight-like shimmering patterns. With the graceful sway of her waist, the starlight sparkled and shone brightly.
She leaned lightly against the car door with one hand, while the other gently stroked her long, flowing, ink-black hair that cascaded down like a waterfall. Her eyes were almond-shaped, her eyebrows delicate, her skin fair and smooth, her nose high and straight, and her lips red and luscious. Her exquisitely made-up face exuded a captivating aura, and her gaze was fixed firmly on me.
Her steps were light and graceful, her full figure accentuated by the form-fitting skirt, the sheer fabric revealing glimpses of her chest and a deep cleavage, adding a touch of mystery to her allure. Below her slender waist, perfectly outlined by the skirt, were full, rounded hips, which swayed gently with her steps like ripe peaches.
This is my mother-in-law, the flawlessly beautiful and charming Aunt Ouyang.
“My young master, do I look good today?” Aunt Ouyang asked me with a light laugh, her tone almost languid.
“Ah…so beautiful, so beautiful!” I was a little stunned and stammered.
“Ouch!” I cried out in surprise, because I felt the skin on my waist deform 180 degrees under some external force. This was followed by a “humph.”
“Mom, there are no guests today, why are you dressed so nicely?” Jingyan asked.
“Does Mom not look good without guests? The best side of yourself should be shown to your family, right?” Aunt Ouyang said, winking at me with her big, almond-shaped eyes.
“Brother~ Sister Jingyan~” The back window rolled down, and a delicate and beautiful face blinked her big, round, watery eyes at us.
“Little sister~” I saw that she was still wearing her school uniform.
“Young Master, shall we drive?” Aunt Ouyang walked to the passenger seat before I could say anything.
We got into the car. Jingyan and her younger sister were chatting in the back seat. I fastened my seatbelt, glanced at Aunt Ouyang next to me, and said, “Auntie, please sit properly.”
“No way~ I can sit however I want.” Aunt Ouyang said with a mischievous smile.
I forced a smile, took a deep breath, and focused on driving—”Aunt Ouyang got into the passenger seat, took off her high heels, stretched out her two long, slender legs in black stockings, and crossed them on the passenger seat. She turned her body towards me, touching her long, black-stockinged legs with her hand while watching me drive. The red interior and Aunt Ouyang’s all-black outfit exuded a mature allure.
I’m truly… experiencing both pain and pleasure…
As the sun set and night fell, I drove my red Panamera into the villa district without any hindrance, and into one of the few luxury villas in the area.
A middle-aged man, about 1.8 meters tall, wearing a plaid shirt and with a slightly protruding belly, watched us park the car with a smile. This was Qin Jingyan’s father, my father-in-law, Qin Bin.
“Uncle Qin!”
“dad!”
Jingyan and her younger sister rushed into Uncle Qin’s arms, and Uncle Qin affectionately stroked their heads.
I got out of the car and called out to Uncle Qin, and he smiled and nodded at me.
Aunt Ouyang put on her shoes and got out of the car. She glanced at Uncle Qin and asked, “Are Bowen and Sister Wanyi inside?”
“No, they’re having an outdoor barbecue in the backyard.” Uncle Qin’s eyes lit up when he saw Aunt Ouyang.
“Barbecue! Uncle Qin, let’s go! Come on~” The younger sister and Jingyan each grabbed one of Uncle Qin’s arms and pulled him towards the backyard.
“Honestly, you just sit here doing nothing while others run around doing all the work,” Aunt Ouyang said with feigned disdain, then came over and took my arm, saying, “Come on, honey, let’s go too.”
Before even reaching the backyard, the aroma of roasted meat filled the air, and joyful cheers could be heard.
“Dad, I want chicken skewers!” It was my little sister.
“Okay, there’s chicken over there, skewer it yourself.” That was my dad’s voice.
“Be careful, Jingyan Xuanman, watch out for the sharp points on the skewers.” A gentle voice came from my mother.
Turning the corner into the backyard, I saw several busy figures.
Uncle Qin and my dad were turning the meat skewers in their hands in front of the grill, while my sister and Jingyan were at a table quite far from the grill, wearing gloves and skewering meat.
My mother, dressed in a long, flowing dress embroidered with delicate lotus flowers, looked like a fairy who had stepped out of an ancient poem. Her high, full breasts seemed to burst the dress, causing the delicate shoulder straps to dig deep into her smooth, snow-white shoulders, unintentionally revealing a hint of allure that made one’s blood boil.
With a light touch of makeup, my mother’s face appeared even more beautiful and pleasing, perfectly showcasing her innate elegance and gentleness. Her almond-shaped eyes, delicate eyebrows, snow-white skin, and dewy cheeks revealed her refined and graceful temperament.
At this moment, she was wearing an apron, her hands as smooth and delicate as lotus roots, as she gracefully placed a salad she had prepared herself on the table. These hands, seemingly untouched by worldly affairs, could conjure up countless mouthwatering dishes in an instant, as magical as magic.
With light steps, her beautiful feet in white sandals appeared and disappeared beneath her bare long skirt. The vertical hem of the skirt clung to her baby-soft calves, slowly sliding down to create a hazy and alluring scene that was intoxicating.
“Dad, Mom!” I called out.
“My son is here!” Mom smiled at me.
“Look at you, Qin Bin, really! You could have just let Sister Wang handle this, instead of making Sister Wanyi do all this.” Aunt Ouyang let go of my arm, complaining to Uncle Qin who was grilling, as she walked towards my mother to help her. As for Sister Wang, she was Uncle Qin’s housekeeper.
“It’s alright, I’ve already spoken to Qin Bin. I’ll give Sister Wang the day off today. I can manage the dinner for just the few of us,” Mom said softly to Aunt Ouyang.
Uncle Qin, who was grilling, gave his father a wry smile, not daring to say anything. His father also gave a knowing, ambiguous smile.
“Dad, I’ve skewered them all! I want to grill the chicken wings!” My little sister ran excitedly to her dad’s side, holding four skewers of chicken wings. I also went over to Jingyan’s side, put on gloves, and helped her with the grilling.
“Speaking of which, aren’t these things readily available? Why bother stringing them yourself?” I asked.
“My dad must have gotten it from somewhere, right? I heard he went to see an organic farm or something, or maybe your mom got it? I’m not sure,” Jingyan said.
“Okay.” After saying that, I turned and looked around, then whispered to Jingyan, “Did Uncle Qin and Aunt Ouyang have a fight today?”
Jingyan glanced to the side, then looked down at me and said, “It shouldn’t be. It’s just that Dad has always been like this, and Mom probably doesn’t like it.”
“That’s good,” I said, feeling relieved.
Uncle Qin is too busy with work; sometimes he won’t come for half a month at a time. Actually, every time Uncle Qin comes back, he invites our whole family to play at his house. He calls it a gathering, but there’s another reason: to ease Aunt Ouyang’s resentment when Uncle Qin first came back.
In no time, Jingyan and I had prepared the food for the barbecue.
“Brother~ Try some!” My sister hugged me from behind, holding a skewer of meat to my lips. Then she happily ran away.
[She studies so hard usually, these kinds of gatherings are the happiest for her.]
Following her, I saw her mother and Aunt Ouyang chatting and laughing as they packed up. After handing the meat skewers to her mother and Aunt Ouyang, she ran to her father and Uncle Qin’s side, hiding behind her father and staring at the steaming meat skewers.
Before we knew it, the stars were twinkling and the night was growing darker.
…
“cheers!!!”
Under the soft lighting and in the cool summer night, the two families raised their glasses together to celebrate this joyous reunion. Uncle Qin was about to bring out his treasured wine, but Aunt Ouyang patted his stomach, so he gave up.
Mom picked up two skewers of meat, rolled them into a pancake for Dad, and then gave Uncle Qin a meaningful look, saying, “Old Qin, look how you roll this pancake.” After rolling it up, she handed it to Dad.
Uncle Qin immediately understood, and while pretending to imitate the cat, he said, “Oh, is that so? Here, wife, I’ve made it for you, have a taste.” Uncle Qin made one and handed it to Aunt Ouyang.
Aunt Ouyang took it, glanced at Uncle Qin, and nodded as she ate.
The remaining six people breathed a sigh of relief.
“How was that project you were looking at?” Aunt Ouyang asked Uncle Qin.
“We still need to follow up on the project. It’s quite large this time, and…” Uncle Qin said seriously.
“cough!!!”
Before he could finish speaking, Dad coughed loudly a few times and said, “Old Qin, try Wanyi’s cold salad. Hurry up and eat it while it’s hot.” He then handed the salad to Uncle Qin.
When I heard my dad say that, I almost spat out the drink I had just taken a sip of.
Uncle Qin reacted quickly, immediately changing his tune and saying, “Yes, Lanlan, eat more. There’s too much meat; it’ll help cut through the grease.”
Jingyan and I looked at each other and chuckled to ourselves in unison.
Dinner ended in a cheerful atmosphere. We tidied up a bit and returned to the villa.
Uncle Qin’s villa has two floors above ground and one floor below ground. The first floor has a living room, kitchen, laundry room, a maid’s room, and a guest room, although the maid, Sister Wang, doesn’t stay here at night. The second floor is for living and personal use, including Uncle Qin and Aunt Ouyang’s bedroom, Qin Jingyan’s bedroom, and even a bedroom specifically for my parents; there’s also Uncle Qin’s study and Aunt Ouyang and Jingyan’s workout space. The basement has entertainment facilities such as a pool table, mahjong table, karaoke, and a private cinema.
My younger sister dashed off to the karaoke bar downstairs. Jingyan wanted to stay with me, but my sister dragged her away. My parents wanted to go to the balcony for some fresh air and give Uncle Qin and Aunt Ouyang some private space, but Aunt Ouyang pulled my mom into the bedroom to chat. The three of us guys were left staring at each other.
“Let’s go play pool. Bowen, let’s have a one-on-one match.” Uncle Qin led us downstairs.
It was supposed to be a one-on-one fight, but actually it was just my dad and I fighting Uncle Qin.
“Thud!” A crisp sound of the bag falling. My dad and I had been poking at it with the stick for several rounds.
“Old Qin, what’s the deal with this project you mentioned?” Dad asked Uncle Qin as they chatted.
“Sigh~” Uncle Qin had just bent down to take aim when his father’s words made him stand up and sigh, saying, “Another big project, it won’t be easy to win it.”
“Then you’ll have to follow up?” Dad asked.
“Yes, I’ll be going again in a while,” Uncle Qin said.
“If you ask me, Lao Qin, there’s no end to making money. You need to make time for your family. You’ve been on so many business trips already, that’s enough,” his father advised.
“Yes, once this project is almost finished, I’ll sell what needs to be sold. You know my situation; at our level, there are some things I can’t refuse,” Uncle Qin said. After betting the black eight, Uncle Qin stared at me for several seconds, then said, “Then, I’ll hand everything over to Xuan Yu, haha.”
“Come on, he’s not cut out for that. I don’t want him traveling all the time. He should just stay here and do research with me,” Dad said.
“Xuanyu, what are you thinking?” Uncle Qin asked me.
“Me? My current path is indeed towards scientific research, but scientific research also requires funding, or I need to start my own technology company. I’ve already started researching some things.” I stroked my chin and told them my thoughts.
“Okay! Uncle will fully support you then!” Uncle Qin shouted, and Dad shook his head helplessly.
“Tap tap tap~” The sound of slippers hitting the stairs came from the stairwell. I turned my head and saw my mother and Aunt Ouyang. They had changed into the same style of bathrobes but different colors. My mother’s was light blue and white, and Aunt Ouyang’s was red. The two of them came downstairs. My mother put the fruit and homemade drinks she was carrying on a tray on the table next to her and went to the KTV to find Jingyan and her sister.
“Xiaoyu, come sing with us,” Aunt Ouyang called to me, her tray also laden with fruit and drinks. I put down my unused pool cue and walked behind them.
Looking at the two beautiful mature women in front of me, their robes fit them perfectly, flowing and loose yet subtly outlining their curves. Both robes were custom-made for my mother by Aunt Ouyang. Compared to Aunt Ouyang’s robe, my mother’s robe was slightly shorter, but the design of the chest and hips was more spacious, revealing a unique charm.
Pushing open the door, two little girls were holding hands and singing “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day.” Seeing what Aunt Ouyang was holding, the younger sister ran over and took it from her.
The four beauties took their seats. Jingyan handed the microphone to her mother, and I sat at the song selection desk, letting my mother choose a song. My mother chose “Moonlight over the Lotus Pond”.
“I’m like a fish in your lotus pond—just to wait with you under the bright moonlight.” Under the soft lamplight, my mother gracefully held the microphone, sitting demurely. Her long, slender legs were gently crossed, like a beauty in an ancient painting. To the melodious tune, her cherry-like lips parted slightly, releasing a captivating voice. Unlike the original singer’s wild, heroic voice, my mother’s voice was gentle and melodious, lingering in the air, like a woman dancing gracefully with a veil. Wearing a blue-and-white nightgown, my mother appeared even more enchanting in the song’s atmosphere, as if truly a lotus flower slowly opening in the quiet summer night, needing no adornment, possessing a natural and captivating charm.
After the song was finished, everyone couldn’t help but applaud.
My younger sister handed the microphone to Aunt Ouyang, who then selected an English song, “Take Me to Your Heart,” sung by a male singer. I thought there was a mistake, so I checked again, and Aunt Ouyang confirmed it was correct.
As the music started, Aunt Ouyang crossed her legs and leaned slightly forward as she sang. Aunt Ouyang had studied abroad, so her English was very good. The song’s melody was also very slow, and combined with Aunt Ouyang’s clear and bright voice, which carried the charm of a mature woman, I could indeed hear a different flavor in it.
Halfway through the song, Aunt Ouyang suddenly got up, walked to my side at the song request station, took out another microphone, and handed it to me, meaning that I should sing with her.
“They say nothing lasts forever~”
“We are only here today~”
“Love is now or never~”
“Bring me far away~”
Aunt Ouyang watched me sing along. My English is pretty good, but I can’t sing English songs well. I can only barely keep up with her rhythm.
Moreover, singing this kind of song with Aunt Ouyang and trying to understand the meaning of the lyrics always feels a bit awkward to me…
As the song ended, Aunt Ouyang kissed me on the cheek. Her mature and alluring fragrance, mingled with the sweetness of the drink, filled my nostrils, leaving me momentarily stunned.
Suddenly, Jingyan’s voice came from the speakers: “Xuanyu, come over here and let’s sing a duet together!” I tapped a few times on the screen and then sat down next to Jingyan.
We sang a song we both really liked, “Slowly Falling in Love with You.” The melody was like a whispered secret between lovers, full of hidden allure and intimate touch. The lyrics flowed with fragments of daily life, yet every word overflowed with deep affection and love.
Jingyan was still wearing her Hong Kong-style shirt, her legs gently together, her toes swaying unconsciously to the melody. Her clear voice carried a touch of tenderness and liveliness, adding a captivating allure to her youthful transformation into maturity. Our fingers intertwined, our eyes met, and we gazed deeply into each other’s eyes, each seeing only the other’s reflection, conveying our vows of unwavering devotion through the lyrics.
As the last note faded, I couldn’t resist gently pressing a kiss to her alluring lips. She lowered her head shyly, a romantic blush spreading across her face, like the sunset reflecting on her fair skin, breathtakingly beautiful.
“Wow~ I’m so envious! Why can’t I have a boyfriend?” The younger sister asked, clapping her hands and shaking her mother’s arm. The mother instinctively wanted to laugh, and the corners of her mouth were already turned up, but suddenly she poked the younger sister’s forehead with a stern face.
“Hmph, if you won’t let me date, I’ll sing! I accidentally ate some PDA! I need to vent!!!” The younger sister grabbed the microphone and ran off to select a song.
I thought my sister was just being playful, but I didn’t expect her to actually request “I’ll Love You Till I Die”.
I……
I silently repeated to myself, “She’s my own sister, she’s my own sister, she’s my own sister.”
…
The moon hangs high in the sky, the stars are shining and the night is still.
Everyone was tired from playing, so after saying goodnight, they went to their own rooms.
Needless to say, Aunt Ouyang and her husband, both of them, have their own bedrooms. I’m the one suffering because my younger sister is here. I don’t know if she’s genuinely jealous or what, but she insisted on sleeping with Jingyan.
There was no other way, so I had to go to the remaining bedroom on the second floor.
However, before Jingyan went inside, she made a phone gesture to me, and I responded in kind.
Lying in bed, I opened my phone and saw a message from Zhao Chenyu.
Zhao Chenyu: “Senior, Lan gave me the day off today. Did you guys go to a party? Do I still have to go to work tomorrow? Lan didn’t say. I’m just asking you.”
I replied, “Yes, it shouldn’t be necessary on the weekend. You can wait for Aunt Ouyang to contact you then.” The job of a driver is different from others; you need to be available anytime, anywhere.
Shouldn’t he be contacting Mu Lingze? Why is he contacting me? He probably thinks it’s related to his personal life. After all, although Mu Lingze and Aunt Ouyang have a good relationship, like sisters and friends, it’s not as close as our families are.
He didn’t reply, so I went to look at other messages.
Mu Qianning: “Young Master Lin, where did you and Jingyan go today?”
Me: “Mind your own business!”
To my surprise, she replied instantly.
Mu Qianning: “You… tell the truth, or I’ll tie Jingyan up in the dorm another day!”
Me: “Haha, you wouldn’t dare.”
Mu Qianning: “Oh dear, where did they go?”
Me: “Didn’t Jingyan tell you?”
Mu Qianning: “No, my tutor called me, so I was separated from her for a short while, and you managed to get your way! Ahhh/frustrated/frustrated”
Me: “Calm down, calm down, Uncle Qin is back. It’s just a family gathering.” The sisters, as Jingyan’s best friends, had both been to Jingyan’s house and met Uncle Qin.
Mu Qianning: “Oh, I see. Well then, looks like you’re going to do something naughty again tonight.”
I was speechless; this girl really doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut.
Me: “Huh? No, Jingyan and I are a couple, we’re both adults, what’s wrong with us doing *that*? Isn’t that normal? /knocks”
Mu Qianning: “Okay, okay, it’s normal, it’s normal. I wish you a healthy baby soon, maybe ten babies!”
Me: “But you, going to a hotel so far from school by yourself and staying overnight, tsk tsk tsk.”
Mu Qianning: “You…shut up!” /knock
Me: “Tell me who it is, so I can help you vet them.”
Mu Qianning: “No one.”
Me: “Really? /Evil grin”
Mu Qianning: “My biggest regret is letting you see this.”
I saw this message and was wondering what it meant, but then she suddenly withdrew it.
Me: “??? What did she send?” I pretended not to know and asked her.
Mu Qianning: “It’s nothing, just a typo.”
Me: “Okay. If you find one you like, you can tell me, and I can help you.”
Mu Qianning: “You’re right, it’s a deal.”
Me: “What are you talking about? Who am I, Young Master Lin?”
Mu Qianning: “Fine, you owe me a boyfriend.”
Me: “??? You’re really good at confusing people. I just said I’d help you, and now it’s like I owe you something.”
Mu Qianning: “/Smirking/Smirking”
Me: “Fine, I’m going to sleep.”
Mu Qianning: “Sleep? Isn’t Jingyan next to you? Or… are you already done? /smirk”
Me: “Don’t pry into adults’ affairs!”
Mu Qianning, this girl, always speaks incoherently and in a rambling way.
I closed the chat app and checked the time. More than half an hour had passed. Why hadn’t Jingyan sent me a message yet?
I watched videos for another ten minutes and found that Jingyan still hadn’t messaged me. Oh well, she’s probably too tired and went to sleep. I’ll go to the bathroom and go to sleep too.
The bedroom I’m staying in doesn’t have a toilet; their own bedrooms all have toilets, so I have to go to the toilet on the second floor.
I quietly went out, turned a corner, and found a bedroom door with a thin ray of light shining through.
This must be… Uncle Qin’s bedroom. The door isn’t closed properly. The light’s on, so they’re probably not asleep. I’ll go remind them.
Just as I was about four or five meters away from their house, the sound coming from inside made my foot freeze in mid-air.
“Clap clap clap!”
“Clap clap clap!”
Having experienced matters between men and women, I am all too familiar with this sound, and I am extremely sensitive to it.
Uncle Qin and Aunt Ouyang are making love, aren’t they? Well, they’ve been apart for so long, it’s no wonder they couldn’t help themselves. Honestly, they were in such a rush they didn’t even close the door properly. Looks like I won’t have a chance to warn them.
I turned to leave, but the sounds coming from inside made me stop again.
“Ah! Ah~”
Aunt Ouyang’s moans were like a demonic sound, igniting the lust within me. I thought, “Let’s listen to it. There’s no one around, no security cameras, and the corner isn’t far from me. I can just run away later.”
I quietly moved a little closer, and the sound became clearer.
“Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!”
“Clap clap! Clap clap!”
“Squeak squeak squeak”
The groans, the sounds of flesh colliding, and the creaking of the bed blended into a unique, devilish melody. The pain that could only be heard but not seen further stimulated my already rich imagination, making it grow faster like fertilizer for desire.
What position is Aunt Ouyang in now?
Do they wear clothes?
How long have they been doing this?
Judging from Aunt Ouyang’s moans, they didn’t seem very loud, not as intense as mine and Jingyan’s.
Before I could think much about it, several deep, muffled roars came from inside.
“Ah! Honey, I’ve come! Honey!”
“Bang!” Then came the sound of something heavy hitting the bed, accompanied by Aunt Ouyang’s soft gasp.
There was a moment of silence.
“Wife~ Wife, you are so beautiful~” Uncle Qin said.
“Beauty? What’s the use of beauty? You’re still stuck with this family alone, and you end up looking like a haggard old woman,” Aunt Ouyang said with a hint of resentment.
“Oh dear, honey, I was wrong. *kiss*” Uncle Qin’s apologetic voice and the sound of a kiss rang out.
“Alright, that’s all you say every time you come back. I’ve had enough.” Aunt Ouyang’s tone remained firm.
“In a few years, after Jingyan and Xuanyu graduate with their master’s degrees and get married, I’ll retire, and we’ll go on a trip. We can go wherever you want, and we won’t care about anything else. We’ll just sell your business!” Uncle Qin said.
“Are you sure? Why didn’t you have this idea earlier?” Aunt Ouyang still complained, but her tone softened considerably.
“Really, my wife! It’s been decided for a while now. This project will be running normally in a few more years. You know, some things can’t be postponed.” Uncle Qin’s tone carried some of the helplessness he had shown before.
“Okay, okay, I understand.” Aunt Ouyang’s tone was no longer resentful, but even more comforting.
“Honey, you look absolutely stunning in those black stockings today. I almost couldn’t resist,” Uncle Qin said. I could also hear a slight movement on the bed.
“Hey, don’t get so close to me. Who knows how many black stockings you’ve seen outside, or if you’ve ever torn them open?” Aunt Ouyang’s resentment returned.
“No! Honey, I’m sorry about the other things, but I really am not sorry about this.” Uncle Qin suddenly adopted a tone as if he were about to swear an oath.
“Just mind your own business, hey, don’t hug me so tightly,” Aunt Ouyang said.
“Wife, so many years have passed, but you are still so beautiful, just like when we first got together.” Uncle Qin’s voice sounded like Jingyan and I whispering sweet nothings to each other in private.
“Hmph, once someone gets old and loses their beauty, some people won’t even look at them anymore,” Aunt Ouyang said, but there was a hint of smugness in her words.
“You know, wouldn’t it be great if Jingyan and Xuanyu were like us?” Uncle Qin said.
“No, I don’t want him to become like you!” Aunt Ouyang said, and suddenly there was a “smack”. I was wondering what the sound was when I heard Uncle Qin say.
“Oh, it’s just a little tummy, it’s nothing.”
“You call that a little belly? It’s practically a ball!” Aunt Ouyang’s tone was a mix of disdain and concern. Then came a loud “smack!”
“If Bowen and I hadn’t kept emphasizing that Xuanyu would have been corrupted by you long ago, I wouldn’t want him to become like you.” Aunt Ouyang’s words warmed my heart once again.
“Oh dear, that’s not right. There’s always a need for social skills and etiquette in society. We can’t let Xuanyu become a bookworm, can we? Or let Jingyan face all this for him? Are you willing to do that?” When he said this, Uncle Qin shook off his previous dejected mood and became somewhat firm.
“Who are you saying is wrong?” Aunt Ouyang retorted.
“What I said wasn’t wrong either.” Uncle Qin’s “manly spirit” vanished without a trace in an instant.
“Qin Bin, I understand everything you’re saying. I’m prepared for Xuan Yu to face these things, but I never expect these two children to surpass us. Look at the state of our lives now! Do you even care about family anymore? Do you want Jing Yan to spend all her time alone in an empty bed? The only reason I’m still managing the company is that I hope what we’re doing can provide a stable living environment for them and Xuan Man.” Aunt Ouyang’s tone became somewhat reproachful. But these cold words transformed into a warm current within me, warming my entire body.
“Alright, alright, honey, don’t be angry. It’s late at night, we’re just having a chat. Let’s sit down and get ready. As for where the kids go, let them figure it out themselves. We’ll take care of everything.” Uncle Qin’s tone softened.
“Hmph! That’s more like it.” Aunt Ouyang’s tone softened as well.
The air was completely silent. A short while later…
“Mmm~ Mmm~ Ugh~”
“Pop!”
“Smack~ Mmm~” A soft and crisp kissing sound came.
“Wife, shall we do it again?” Uncle Qin said, though his voice was tinged with some heavy breathing.
“No, go to sleep now~ Come again tomorrow~ okay?” Aunt Ouyang said.
“Okay, then you can wear stockings tomorrow night,” Uncle Qin said.
“Okay, okay, whatever you say is fine,” Aunt Ouyang said.
After another series of soft kisses—”click~”—the light in the crack went out instantly, and everything sank into darkness.
