On Friday, because Chen Qingbing was going on a business trip to attend a meeting this weekend, she made time for herself today, leaving work early, preparing dinner, and then driving to pick up her brother and sister from school.
“Mom, you said you’re going on a business trip tomorrow?” Chen Ke asked.

“Seven o’clock.”

After dinner, Chen Kong said, “Mom, I’ll wash the dishes.” She then went into the kitchen to collect the dishes.
Chen Qingbing agreed, glanced at her daughter who was playing games in the living room, and went upstairs.

Chen Kong entered the room and saw that her mother was not wearing her usual home clothes, but a white gauze nightgown with a shawl, which seemed to blend in with the white bed.
“Mom looks so beautiful today!” Chen Kong was completely captivated by the fragrance in her mother’s room.
Chen Kong saw his mother putting on a calm expression, pretending to read a book as if she didn’t care about him at all, which was extremely cute. Chen Kong couldn’t help but chuckle to himself, but he didn’t call her out on it.
Chen Kong came to the bedside, and without saying hello to Chen Qingbing, he directly lifted the covers and got into bed.
