“See you later.” As Kimura Momo turned around, she suddenly winked at Shirakawa Natsu from a blind spot.

Shirakawa Natsu shuddered, glancing at Jingu Nao out of the corner of her eye, and only breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Nao wasn’t paying attention to them.

When he looked at Kimura Momo again, she had already turned away and remained, leaving behind a graceful and elegant silhouette.

What is this lecherous fox up to now? Shirakawa Natsu was just captivated by that wink of charm.

A normally dignified and stunning beauty can suddenly become mischievous, catching everyone off guard.

“They’re already far away.” Jingu Nao whispered in his ear, “Isn’t Kimura-sensei beautiful? Want to sleep with her?”

“Ahem.” Shirakawa Natsu coughed twice: “It’s not that you can sleep with someone just because they’re good-looking. You need love for that kind of thing.”

“Really?” Nao Jingu leaned closer, extending her little finger, and said, “Let’s pinky swear.”

“Tch, are you a child?” Shirakawa Natsu extended her little finger and hooked it with her own tiny little finger.

“Hmm.” Jingu Nao nodded, looking at the two of them with their fingers intertwined. When she looked up at Shirakawa Natsu, her eyes began to soften. “When I was very young, I made a pinky promise with my friends that we would go home together when we grew up. Unfortunately, none of them kept their promise. Natsu would never lie to me, right?”

As they spoke, the wind blew through the woods, carrying a few withered yellow leaves into the air.

“Uh.” Shirakawa Natsu scratched the back of her head, feeling the atmosphere suddenly turn sad. Modern society is developing too fast, and the word “hometown” has gradually changed from a noun to a memory: “When we were little, Miyuki said that she would marry me when she grew up, but she turned out to be a super playboy.”

He shrugged and said casually, “I don’t even know where Nao’s hometown is.”

“Hehe, it’s quite far.” Jingu Nao put her hands behind her back, turned around and looked at a tree in front of her, and said, “There were many poplar trees outside my house, and I even carved my name on them, but they should be gone by now.”

“We can go and confirm it,” Shirakawa Natsumi said with a smile.

“What?” Jingu Nao was taken aback.

Shirakawa Natsu smiled and took her hand: “I want to go and see, to see the place where Nao was born, to see the poplar tree where you carved your name, and then carve my name next to it too.”

Jingu Nao paused for a moment, then smiled again: “But it’s very far.”

“It’s okay, we have a long future ahead of us.” Shirakawa Natsumi held her hand. “We’ll have a chance to go.”

“Yes.” Nao Jingu nodded. “We will go. Someday, we will go.”

Shirakawa Natsumi breathed a sigh of relief, finally managing to get away with it and no longer dwelling on the matter of sleeping with Kimura Momo.

This lecherous fox, possessing the ability to control a person’s five senses, directly approached the minotaur’s girlfriend.

Last time at the apartment, if he hadn’t had kidney problems and left quickly, the three of them would have ended up having sex.

Even if he doesn’t mind a threesome deep down, it should at least be done with all three people knowing. Such a transparent relationship is nothing short of blatant misbehavior.

“Let’s go eat. I heard there’s a good restaurant.” Shirakawa Natsumi grabbed Jingu Nao’s hand and ran outside.

After my date with her, I still have to go to that lecherous fox’s place. I hope she doesn’t cause any trouble.

In the bar, Miyuki picked up a glass of whiskey and took a sip.

Sitting next to her was Inagawa Hanahi. Today, she wasn’t wearing her elegant kimono, but rather a business suit with black stockings and high heels. Her demeanor still seemed out of place here.

“Thank you for listening to me.” Inagawa Hanahiya picked up her iced drink, tilted her head back, and took a big gulp. The next second, she immediately covered her throat and coughed rapidly.

Miyu snapped her fingers, attracting the bartender’s attention: “Please pour me a glass of hot milk, with sugar.”

“Okay.” The bartender turned around. Hot milk with sugar can relieve the burning sensation in the stomach after drinking, and they naturally have it at the counter.

“Hey, don’t treat me like a child.” Inagawa Hana looked up, the stimulation and embarrassment brought on by the alcohol completely washing away the serious mask on her face, leaving only the shyness unique to a girl of her age.

He glanced at Miyuki out of the corner of his eye; despite his cool exterior, he was surprisingly attentive.

This contrast gives her a unique charm.

Now, Inagawa Hanahi is nothing like the yakuza heiress that Shirakawa Natsu knew. She’s more like a young woman fresh out of college, dressed in an overtly mature office lady outfit, wearing ill-fitting high heels, complaining to her best friend after being scolded by her boss on her first day of work.

“Here’s your hot milk with sugar, sir.” The bartender placed a glass filled with white milk between the two.

“I don’t need to drink this stuff,” Inagawa Hanahi said, raising her hand instead of drinking.

A hand was faster than hers; Miyuki had already reached out when the bartender put the bar down.

So when Inagawa Hanahi raised her hand, Miyuki had already grabbed the glass, downed it in one gulp, and turned to look at Inagawa Hanahi: “What did you just say?”

“I…” Inagawa Hanahi placed the raised object on her cheek: “My left cheek is itchy.”

“Oh.” Miyuki put down her glass and said to the bartender, “Another one, please.”

“Okay, sir.” The bartender placed another glass of milk between the two of them.

“Tch, what a cheap trick to fool women.” Inagawa Hanahi scoffed. This tactic of first lowering a woman’s expectations and then revealing her gentleness is quite common.

However, Inagawa Hanahi still had to admit that her mood had indeed been on a rollercoaster ride for a moment, inexplicably quickening.

She raised her hand, and then saw that Miyuki also reached out his hand, picked up the milk, and drank it all in one gulp.

He turned to look at her, frowned, and asked, “Excuse me, what did you say?”

“…” Inagawa Hanahi placed her raised hand on her right cheek: “My right cheek is itchy too.”

“It’s probably an allergy. Remember to go to the hospital.” Miyuki handed the glass to the bartender and didn’t order a third glass of milk.

Inagawa Hanahi felt the effects of the alcohol had worn off considerably, probably because she was angry.

She was certain that Miyuki’s popularity was simply due to her good looks.

“Pfft.” Inagawa Hanahi suddenly burst out laughing, and the laughter grew louder and louder.

Miyuki frowned and looked over.

“I’m sorry.” Inagawa Hana waved her hand. “I haven’t been this happy in a long time.”

Miyuki put down her wine glass and suddenly asked, “Do you really hate your father that much?”

During their conversation, Inagawa Hanahi and Minoki shared many of their past experiences, including their dislike for their father.

Inagawa Hanahi paused, then shook her head: “He was a good person in the traditional sense from other people’s perspective. He was clearly a yakuza heir, but he ran off to become a policeman, and in the end, he sacrificed himself to save someone.”

“If this were a TV series, he would definitely be the good guy who gets all the tears in people’s eyes and is praised at the end.”

“But he was not a good son, nor a good father.”

“Never mind.” Inagawa Hanahi shook her head. “You don’t understand how I feel.”

“No.” Miyuki shook her head: “I understand, because I also have something beyond the so-called good and bad people.”

A hint of a smile appeared on her cool, older sisterly expression: “More than friendship.”

Inagawa Hana looked her up and down and smiled, “You must be Mr. Xia. He is indeed a nice guy.”

She raised her glass and said, “To friendship.”

At the entrance of Waseda School, Kanna Hojo stood hesitant, unable to move forward.

“Hey, junior, if you don’t want to catch your boyfriend cheating, go back.” The curly-haired, mature woman who caused a scene at the library last time stood in front of me, wearing high heels and crossing her arms: “Remember to pay for my car gas.”

“It’s just drinking with other girls, nothing to worry about. Mikoto has her own social circle.” Kanna Hojo lowered her head. She was organizing books in the library when this senior student who had come over last time pulled her away, saying she wanted to show Mikoto her true colors.

“If you trust her, why did I drag you here?” The curly-haired mature woman walked up to her in high heels, reached out and poked her chest, her fingers sinking in immediately.

“Hmm,” Kanna Hojo hummed.

“Don’t make such lewd noises! It makes me sound like a pervert.” The curly-haired woman blushed and withdrew her hand. “Haven’t you been completely devoured by Miyuki yet?”

“That’s not what I meant.” Kanna Hojo covered her chest with her hands, not daring to look up.

“Look at the photos my friend sent, it’s at that bar up ahead.” The curly-haired woman turned her head and walked towards her high heels. “You can decide for yourself whether to follow or not. Maybe you can go home now and wait patiently. After all, she will definitely come back, and she will treat you as well as usual. As long as you are willing to be a silly woman, she won’t break up with you.”

Kanna Hojo stood there, her face showing struggle, but her expression gradually became firm as she caught up with the curly-haired older woman.

“Hmph, so deep down you still don’t trust her, right?” the curly-haired older woman chuckled.

“No.” Kanna Hojo shook her head, her tone firm, and smiled. “I believe in Miyuki, I believe in the promise she made to me, but I don’t want to obediently go home and wait. I want to learn more about her other side.”

The curly-haired mature woman looked her up and down, then shook her head, sighed in frustration, and shrugged: “Okay, I admit I brought you here to watch the show. When I was dating her, I was afraid she would leave, so I acted unreasonably. Maybe you are the one who is really right for her.”

“Let’s go.” The curly-haired older woman gave her a deep look: “To be honest, I’m jealous of you.”

In the bar, Miyuki downed her drink in one gulp, glanced at the clock on the counter, and said, “It’s about time to head back.”

“Because of my sister?” Inagawa Hanahi said, “She’s waiting for you at home.”

“Hmm.” Miyuki nodded and picked up the bill from the table.

“Wait.” Inagawa Hanahi suddenly stood up and said, “I love you.”

Miyuki’s expression didn’t change; he just shook his head and said, “I know. I can smell the scents on the people around me.”

“Tch, what a lame excuse.” Inagawa Hanahi scoffed. “I was hoping to see your cool and handsome face show surprise.”

Miyuki pulled out a wet tissue and handed it to her: “Wipe your tears.”

“I wasn’t crying.” Inagawa Hanahi reached out and took the tissue, covering her eyes. “And how come you’re so skilled at it?! And it’s the perfect type for wiping away tears!”
