The University of Tokyo doesn’t have many courses, giving students a lot of free time. Shirakawa Natsu didn’t sleep well last night.
My body started to give out, and I went to the infirmary after class.
Shirakawa Natsu felt like she’d been tricked again by her time-traveling predecessor. In the story, whenever the school nurse was involved, she was always a big-breasted, blonde, black-stockinged, high-heeled older woman.
However, the actual school nurse was a middle-aged woman who, after inquiring about Shirakawa Natsu’s condition, arranged a bed for him and told him to rest well.
“I can lie down by myself.” Shirakawa Natsumi drew the curtain and lay down on the bed.
The actual beds are very close together, so if you want to play some weird and wonderful positions on the bed in the infirmary.
Be prepared for the situation to turn into exhibitionism at any time.
Jingu Nao sat on the edge of the bed with a chuckle, her long, black-stockinged legs swinging back and forth: “Hehe, Natsu, can’t you sleep with me watching you?”
“No, that’s not it.” Shirakawa Natsu shook his head, noticing that Jingu Nao’s gaze was fixed on him. “It’s just that I’m not used to it. Am I that good-looking?”
“Yes, because I’m afraid you’ll slip away if I’m not careful.” Jingu Nao rested her chin on her hands, looking at Shirakawa Natsu with a playful yet affectionate gaze.
“I…” Shirakawa Natsumi wanted to speak, but the yellow-haired app required him to first win over Kimura Momo, as it concerned his life.
But Jingu Nao, this pure girl, and her sincere feelings made him feel that he couldn’t let her down.
He felt that this kind of thinking was typical of a scumbag, since reality isn’t a novel, and every woman has her own thoughts.
It’s absolutely impossible for her to share her boyfriend with anyone else.
“Natsu, don’t speak.” Jingu Nao suddenly reached out a finger and touched his lips, grinning as she said, “I love you, so I will stay by your side until I stop loving you. Then, I will slip away from you.”
Shirakawa Natsu was completely bewildered by his peculiar view on love. But then she remembered what she had told her the night before: to hold her tight and not let her slip away. She realized that this was exactly what she would say and do.
This is Jingu Nao, a girl who cannot be understood with normal thinking.
“I’ll sing a lullaby for Natsu.” Jingu Nao suddenly grasped his hand and, without waiting for his reply, began to hum softly: “The little river flows quietly, rippling gently~ The bright moon shines on the water, shimmering with silver light~ I can faintly hear someone singing softly~ What a peaceful night.”
Her voice was soft, like a gentle breeze brushing past your ear, carrying a faint sadness.
As Shirakawa Natsu listened to the melody, her body grew tired, causing her eyes to droop, and then she slowly closed them.
Nao Jingu gently stroked his cheek.
The infirmary doctor also started to doze off, and slowly slumped onto the table and fell into a deep sleep.
At that moment, the door to the infirmary was pushed open from the outside, and Kimura Momo slowly walked in, curiously looking at the unconscious infirmary doctor.
“It’s just some ordinary powder. Inhaled through the respiratory tract, it’s a good helper for promoting sleep.” Jingu Nao smiled and raised her hand. In her right palm was a test tube-like device containing powdery residue.
“Miss Jingu, humans are always interesting enough to invent fun things in their short lives.” Kimura Momo walked up to Jingu Nao and looked at Shirakawa Natsu: “If you live long enough, you will encounter all sorts of fun things, but unfortunately, you can only remember a few of them.”
“I like him.” Jingu Nao looked at Kimura Momo: “Can you not compete with me for him?”
“You misunderstand, Miss Jingu. You and he are both my subjects of observation.” Kimura Momo shook her head. “I am simply curious about humans because humans have something called emotions in addition to instincts. I will not interfere in anything human does because in the end nothing will change. This is the truth I have come to understand after spending a long time here, which is also what you humans call fate.”
“That’s great.” Jingu Nao patted her chest and let out a long breath: “If the opponent were a monster, I wouldn’t have stood a chance at all.”
She pouted after saying that, “How cold-hearted of you! We’re clearly good friends, so even if you saw me in danger, wouldn’t you save me?”
“No.” Kimura Mōe smiled and shook her head: “Even though you are quite remarkable among the people I have observed over the centuries, there is no essential difference between you and him to me. Everything you encounter is your destiny, and I am merely observing and recording it.”
“My identity is that of a university professor, and I will live according to that identity and will not do anything that is inconsistent with it.”
“Tch, you’ll never learn human emotions if you keep going like this.” Jingu Nao pouted. “Perhaps you could try to experience love. It’s the most magical emotion that connects two strangers.”
“I will consider your suggestion.” Kimura Momo smiled and turned to leave the infirmary.
When Shirakawa Natsu woke up, the setting sun was already shining in through the window.
He shielded his eyes from the sunlight with his hand, and heard Nao Jingu’s voice in his ear: “You’re awake.”
“Ah.” Shirakawa Natsu sat up in bed and waved her hand. “Sorry, I overslept.”
“It’s okay, I’ve already drawn tally marks all over your face.” Jingu Nao held a pen in her hand, a mischievous grin on her face.
Shirakawa Natsu quickly took out her phone and examined it carefully. There was no “正” (zhèng) character she had mentioned. She couldn’t help but chuckle, “You rascal.”
“Hehe~” Jingu Nao’s eyes crinkled into crescent moons as she smiled, revealing her signature silly grin.
The two played around for a while longer before waving goodbye at the school gate and promising to meet again tomorrow.
Being with Jingu Nao always makes me forget my troubles.
Shirakawa Natsu was taking the tram home alone. After getting off the tram, he felt as if someone was looking at him from behind.
Having learned from Kimura Momo’s previous experience, she did not choose to call the police this time. Instead, she took out her phone from her pocket, pretended to be playing with it, and used the front-facing camera to check what was happening behind her.
Before long, he noticed a middle-aged man with a stubble beard. Even after deliberately taking several detours, he could still see him sometimes close and sometimes far away.
He suddenly remembered the stalker he had asked Miyuki to catch some time ago. Could this be the guy?
Who is he, and why is he following me?
Shirakawa Natsu began searching her memories, confirming that she did not know this person.
He was quite disappointed when he learned that the stalker wasn’t the pretty woman.
Calling the police now is useless; it won’t prove he was following me, and it might even alert him.
He rarely comes home. This time, after entering the elevator and pressing the button for the twelfth floor, he stood at the door. If the middle-aged man dared to come in, he would just leave without hesitation.
The elevator doors closed slowly, and unlike last time, not a single hand reached out at the last moment.
The middle-aged man who had been following him stood at the apartment entrance. After watching him enter the elevator, he took out his phone and dialed a number: “Boss, he’s just an ordinary college student. He might not know the identity of that female assassin.”
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone before a male voice came through: “Anyone who lays a hand on our Bamboo Union gang must pay the price.”
“Understood.” The middle-aged man bowed at a ninety-degree angle.
Instead of returning to her own room, Shirakawa Natsu pressed the doorbell of room number one on the twelfth floor.
“Mr. Xia, is there something you need?” Kimura Momo opened the door and asked with a smile.
“Excuse me, Professor Zaono, I think I’m being followed. May I come in?” Shirakawa Natsu was planning to ask Zaono for help. She was a professor at Tokyo University and his mentor, so it was perfectly reasonable for him to seek her assistance when he encountered a problem.
Of course, even if he didn’t encounter any surveillance, he would find another reason to go in.
“Okay.” Kimura Momo said, stepping aside to let him in.
“Thank you.” Shirakawa Natsu bowed and walked into the house. Her first impression upon entering was that it was spacious.
Room number one had the same layout as his room number four, but it had very little furniture and almost no clutter, making the room seem much larger.
“Do you need me to call the police for you, Mr. Xia?” Kimura Momo brought him a cup of hot water and asked kindly.
“No need. I don’t have any evidence yet, but I did take photos.” Shirakawa Natsu picked up his teacup. Just as he thought, Kimura Momo was a person without any flaws.
He won’t get any useful information by continuing to exchange pleasantries here.
He pretended to show her photos, took out his phone, quickly opened the Yellow Hair app, and tapped on the backpack.
There lay a special item, “Destined Lover,” which keeps the target’s affection level towards you constant at 100 for 12 hours.
What does a constant favorability rating of 100 mean? It means absolute love. It means that if you want her to, she will pose in any way you ask.
This prop is the key to his success in winning over Kimura Momo.
