Hama Kimura sat upright in his office chair, a smile on his lips that made people feel at ease.

Holding her phone and on a call, she placed it face down beside Koizumi Naka when she saw her enter: “Naka, is something wrong?”

“I’m sorry, Kimura-nii-san.” Koizumi Na’s voice came from off-screen, carrying the shyness unique to young girls.

“I…I know it’s wrong to disturb your rest at noon, but…but I have something important to tell you, and I can only tell you. Please don’t send me away.”

Although Shirakawa Natsu cannot see Koizumi Na’s appearance, she can still feel the girlish emotions and shyness through the screen.

Either Koizumi Nao is very skilled, or there was a hint of sincerity in her words.

He was curious to see how Kimura Hama would respond to this situation.

“Do you think I would kick you out because of what you said?” Kimura Hama smiled and shook his head: “So you think I’m such a heartless person?”

He stood up and said gently, “I watched you grow up, you’re like my own little sister. Come in, you can tell me anything that’s bothering you.”

The screen camera shook, and the two people got closer.

“Just my sister?” Koizumi Na walked up to Kimura Hama. “But that’s not how I see Kimura-nii.”

“Kimura-san’s image, words, and voice always appear in my mind. Everything about you fills my heart.”

“I look at your photos every night before I go to sleep, and… I can no longer suppress these feelings.”

“Am I… am I broken?”

Hama Kimura listened quietly to her, his smile remaining unchanged, until she finished speaking.

He adjusted his glasses and slowly began to speak: “Human love is based on sex, using pleasure as a weapon. In this process, people create incredibly passionate and sweet fantasies.”

“Don’t worry about the food, because this is the body following the laws of nature, getting to know more people its own age…”

“No!” Koizumi interrupted him loudly, took a few steps to Kimura Hama, opened her arms and hugged him tightly: “I don’t want to think about it anymore, please… please let me be Kimura-nii’s dog.”

Hama Kimura neither dodged nor pushed Koizumi away, but waited for her to finish before speaking: “Humans sing praises of love only because it enables the continuation and reproduction of the species. There is no other reason, so don’t sacrifice your most precious thing for the fleeting illusions brought by love.”

Koizumi Nai didn’t listen to him at all, grabbed his suit collar and yanked it to both sides.

The buttons popped open, revealing fair skin and collarbone beneath the shirt.

Shirakawa Natsu turned his head away; for a fleeting moment, his heart had raced when he saw Kimura Hama’s collarbone.

But he has an Adam’s apple, so he is definitely a man.

“Is the problem with me, or is it with Kimura Hama?”

However, it no longer mattered. The moment his shirt was ripped open, he didn’t resist, and it was already a fatal blow.

Anyone who saw this scene would think that Kimura Hama had lost his professional ethics.

Even if a student throws themselves at you, as a teacher, not refusing is a heinous crime.

Shirakawa Natsu shook his head; he didn’t want to see this outcome.

However, Koizumi Nao stopped moving, and an eerie silence fell over the other side of the screen.

Hama Kimura is holding the phone that he just placed face down in his hand; the phone screen shows that he is on a call.

Judging from the call duration, the call was connected before Koizumi Nao entered the office.

The name in the name column is noted as “Koizumi Taro”.

Shirakawa Natsumi’s lips twitched. He recognized the name; it was displayed at the entrance of the hospital, on the top shelf of the wall where hospital staff worked.

The director of this hospital is Koizumi Nao’s father.

Miyuki silently closed her phone, unable to bear watching any longer, and the ward fell silent.

“I want to meet with Hama Kimura,” Natsumi Shirakawa broke the silence. “The sooner the better.”

Miyu looked at him suspiciously, and after a long while shook her head: “I can’t let you do anything illegal. Even if you launch a sneak attack, you might not be able to beat him.”

Shirakawa Natsumi’s lips twitched: “Why do you think I want to take action? I asked him out to reason with him and get him to give up on Hashimoto Arina.”

Miyuki narrowed his eyes slightly and leaned back: “Why do you want to do things beyond your capabilities?”

“Damn it, don’t look so contemptuous!” Shirakawa Natsu waved her hand: “Anyway, try to help me make a date, and if it doesn’t work, then forget it.”

He didn’t have high hopes; in fact, most people wouldn’t agree to such an invitation.

But he had to try. Hashimoto Arina usually kept a close eye on him, and no matter what happened, it couldn’t be kept secret.

I took the day off today. I spoke to her on the phone this morning, but Hashimoto Arina stammered and couldn’t give a clear answer.

Shirakawa Natsumi felt that she probably didn’t tell him the reason for taking leave because she was afraid he would worry.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him.

Hama Kimura is a formidable opponent; getting close to him is an incredibly difficult task.

But he could not escape; he had to do everything in his power to obtain more intelligence.

Miyuki didn’t answer immediately. She looked at Shirakawa Natsu, seemingly thinking, and after a while said, “Okay, but I have to come along.”

“Okay.” Shirakawa Natsu agreed without hesitation.

He originally thought it would be difficult to ask Kimura Hama out, but Miyuki went out to make a phone call and when he came back, he said:

“We’ve already arranged to meet at a tea restaurant outside Dongda University at 7 p.m.

Shirakawa Natsu was stunned. Her childhood friend’s connections were so terrifying. Could there be a hidden heiress from a conglomerate or something?

“I called him directly and told him I wanted to meet him.” Miyuki pouted. “After I gave him my name, he agreed and even offered to meet at a specific address.”

“Hey, so why do you look so disappointed?” Shirakawa Natsu was puzzled as to why Kimura Hama knew his name and even actively arranged the meeting, but Miyuki was clearly very unhappy.

“What a hassle.” Miyuki grinned, covering her forehead with one hand. “I’ll go with you tonight.”

“Thank you.” Shirakawa Natsu was very grateful to Miyuki, who had opposed the marriage from the very beginning.

But she always stood by his side, accompanying him in doing things that outsiders would consider ridiculous.

Miyuki waved her hand and went to get him some clothes.

“Um…” Shirakawa Natsumi’s voice was hesitant. She was deeply shocked after seeing the before-and-after photos of Kimura Hama yesterday: “Could you do some simple makeup for me? I’d prefer something with a noticeable effect like Kimura Hama’s.”

As the sun set, people hurried along the streets. This tea restaurant was doing good business, with many students coming in to eat.

As they entered, they couldn’t help but glance at the corner against the wall a few more times.

There sat a slender, clean-cut, handsome man.

However, they were looking at the short-haired woman sitting next to the handsome man, a cool and mysterious older sister type who was so cool.

“Hey, can you please not sit next to me? You’re stealing my thunder,” Shirakawa Natsu teased. In the end, he didn’t let Miyuki do his makeup.

He already had a clean and handsome appearance, so adding makeup only made him look more tacky.

He hadn’t expected Miyuki to be so popular; just sitting there, several stylishly dressed female college students had already come up to chat him up.

“Call me if you need anything.” Miyu looked around, stood up, and naturally sat down next to a group of pretty girls.

This immediately sparked a burst of playful laughter from the other side.

“What’s wrong with this world?” Shirakawa Natsu shook her head. Why is she so popular with girls when she’s clearly a woman?

The door to the tea restaurant was pushed open, and Kimura Hama appeared at the door, still wearing that well-tailored casual suit.

The buttons that Koizumi Nai tore at the collar have been sewed back on.

His gaze fell directly on where Shirakawa Natsu was sitting, and he walked straight over.

“Hello, Mr. Xia, my name is Kimura Hama, it’s nice to meet you.”

“Hello, please have a seat.” Shirakawa Natsu nodded. Kimura Hama was twenty-six, and he was eighteen; they were not of the same generation.

He immediately placed the two of them on equal footing, showing them ample respect.

Shirakawa Natsu shook her head inwardly; even as an opponent, he was someone you couldn’t bring yourself to dislike.

“Arina often mentions you,” Kimura Hama smiled. “When she was feeling down, seeing your passion for manga inspired her. Thanks to you, she regained her spirits.”

Upon hearing this, Shirakawa Natsu finally understood why Hashimoto Arina had been taking special care of him.

At that time, he had just surpassed his peers and, in order to take revenge on society, began to put all his energy into comics.

Hashimoto Arina seemed to see something else in him.

Upon hearing this, a nameless anger rose within him: “So what exactly is it that has made Sister Youcai so depressed? Is it you?”

Hama Kimura smiled slightly and nodded: “Yes, at that time she was suffering from mild depression. We contacted each other by phone quite often, but her condition did not improve. Instead, she became even more depressed.”

“Damn it! Who caused this?!” Shirakawa Natsu roared, her anger flaring up. She grabbed a glass of water from the table and splashed it on his face.

His only goal was to obtain more information, but he was easily swayed by just two sentences.

At that moment, he felt his blood rush to his head and raised his fist, wanting to punch him in the face.

Miyuki stood up slightly behind him, and everyone dining in the tea restaurant immediately turned to look at them.

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

Kimura Hama didn’t dodge or avoid the splash of cold water on his face. A look of confusion appeared in his eyes as he reached out and took off his glasses.

He took out a white cloth from his breast pocket, wiped the water off it, and calmly put it on: “I’m sorry if my words made you feel uncomfortable.”

“You!” Shirakawa Natsu was furious with him. Because his tone was too sincere, he couldn’t tell whether Kimura Hama was being sarcastic or not.

He was truly daring; if Kimura Hama dared to fight back, he would simply lie down on the ground.

But given his attitude, he had no choice but to lower his raised right hand.

“So what exactly do you want to do? Since you’re already married, why are you still contacting Sister Youcai and making her suffer? How can you face your wife?”
