My Sister Is Acting Strange.

Chapter 4: Departure

After leaving the coffee shop, Tang Huaijin returned home.

Tang Yaoyao was sitting on the sofa playing on her phone when she immediately noticed Tang Huaijin’s hair tied up. She blinked and asked, “Why did you tie your hair up?”

”Your hair is getting in your eyes a bit. Come with me to get it cut another day.” Tang Huaijin touched the small bun at the back of her head.

My hair has gotten a bit long, but I hadn’t really been in the mood to care about it before.

Tang Yaoyao stared at the hair tie suspiciously for a while, then asked casually, “Where did this rubber band come from?”

”I borrowed it from a friend.” Tang Huaijin didn’t tell the truth, otherwise her sister would ask who she went to the coffee shop with.

Generally, only girls carry hair ties with them.

”Oh.” Tang Yaoyao’s tone was a little sour. She reached out and took the hair tie off his head, then replaced it with the one on her wrist. “This one is too ugly. Use this one from your sister.”

After saying that, he casually threw the hair tie he had taken off into the trash can.

What’s ugly about it… Your hair tie is clearly pink…

Tang Huaijin glanced at the black hair tie in the trash can.

Although Tang Huaijin didn’t show anything unusual, Tang Yaoyao still noticed it at the dinner table. She put down her chopsticks and asked softly, “Did something happen today?”

Tang Huaijin lowered his eyes and said calmly, “It’s nothing.”

”Seriously, then look me in the eye and say that again,” Tang Yaoyao complained, both amused and annoyed. “Don’t I know you well enough?”

Oops, I forgot about that again.

Tang Huaijin looked at her sister with a wry smile, “Sister, there’s an exchange student program at school. The top three students in the grade in the monthly exam can go to Rose Noble High School for free.”

”Rose Noble High School? It’s not far from home.” Tang Yaoyao remembered this high school. “What’s up? Are you going?”

”Yes, I want a change of scenery.” Tang Huaijin nodded.

”Then go ahead, I support you.” Tang Yaoyao smiled.

”Um.”

Tang Yaoyao rarely paid attention to Tang Huaijin. In fact, after her parents passed away, most of the important decisions in the family were made by Tang Huaijin.

Moreover, Tang Huaijin had absolutely no problem with his studies.

After thinking for a while, Tang Yaoyao asked, “Is A-Jin still thinking about Lin Ruoxi?”

”No,” Tang Huaijin replied expressionlessly.

Tang Yaoyao’s eyes darted around, and she picked up her phone and shook it, comforting him, “I already told you that I’ll introduce you to someone even better. I have connections.”

Tang Huaijin suddenly looked up at Tang Yaoyao and asked in a calm tone, “Does sister really want to introduce me to someone?”

Tang Yaoyao stiffened, her right hand resting on her left, her smile appearing somewhat unnatural. “Of course, why would your sister lie to you?”

”Oh.” Tang Huaijin stared at Tang Yaoyao for a while, nodded, and said nothing more.

The restaurant suddenly became very quiet. Neither of them spoke, and only the television was playing a program that no one was watching.

”I’m full.” Tang Huaijin stood up.

”Ah, um, I’ll take care of it.” Tang Yaoyao seemed startled and stood up as well.

Usually, one of them would cook and the other would wash the dishes. Today, Tang Huaijin did not refuse and went straight back to her room.

…

After letting the wind blow through the window for a while, Tang Huaijin calmed down. He had indeed been a bit impatient today. After all, Lin Ruoxi’s matter had stirred up some emotions in him. After all, everyone has a heart.

Knock knock knock.

There was a knock at the door.

”Come in, the door’s unlocked.”

Wearing a silk nightgown, Tang Yaoyao walked in carrying a plate of cut fruit, a slightly ingratiating smile on her face, her voice soft: “Ah Jin, your sister cut some fruit for you.”

Tang Huaijin glanced at the small patch of white skin peeking out from Tang Yaoyao’s neckline.

Noticing Tang Huaijin’s gaze on her, a hint of smugness appeared in Tang Yaoyao’s watery eyes. She pretended to tidy her clothes and pulled down her pajamas, making the neckline fall even lower, giving Tang Huaijin a good look.

She was clearly trying to seduce him, but she was so cute that Tang Huaijin couldn’t help but laugh.

Tang Huaijin turned to look out the window, trying not to let her sister see the smile that was about to burst from her eyes, and said in a calm tone, “Okay, put it here.”

Tang Yaoyao put down the fruit, took small steps to walk behind Tang Huaijin, reached out and tugged at his sleeve, and said in a coquettish tone, “Ah Jin~”

Her soft, sweet voice sent shivers down Tang Huaijin’s spine, making his bones feel like they were melting.

Tang Huaijin has never been able to resist her older sister.

Feeling his body stiffen, Tang Yaoyao’s eyes lit up. She pressed her soft body against him and gently whispered in his ear, “Ah Jin~”

His older sister’s soft, fragrant body pressed against his back, her warm breath caressing his ear. It was as if a sweet scent had seeped into his heart.

Tang Huaijin couldn’t take it anymore; he was completely overwhelmed.

Master, it’s not that the disciple is not steadfast, it’s that the demon is too torturous.

He turned around, coughed lightly, accidentally brushed against Tang Yaoyao, and asked gruffly, “What?”

”Sister was wrong.” Tang Yaoyao’s face turned a little red after her younger brother brushed against her, but she still pretended not to know and obediently admitted her mistake.

”Where did we go wrong?”

”I shouldn’t have mentioned Lin Ruoxi in front of you.” Tang Yaoyao looked up at Tang Huaijin, then quickly lowered her head again.

Bullshit, you think this is wrong?

You might feel that you haven’t applied enough eye drops, right?

He pursed his lips, as if sighing, “When will my sister be able to be a little more frank?”

”Sister has always been very frank.” Knowing that her younger brother was no longer angry, Tang Yaoyao giggled, her eyebrows curving as she tugged at Tang Huaijin’s arm and said coquettishly, “Come watch TV with your sister.”

Tang Huaijin shook his head helplessly and looked up at the high ground again.

Feeling his burning gaze, the older sister buttoned up her clothes again, her face flushed: “Shameless.”

Tang Huaijin rolled her eyes.

It’s always like this.

…

These past few days at school, Lin Ruoxi has been no different from usual, still chatting and laughing with her friends, which relieved Tang Huaijin. In the end, he still felt guilty towards Lin Ruoxi.

The results of the monthly exam came out quickly and were posted on the bulletin board in the corridor. Tang Huaijin unsurprisingly took first place in the entire grade, while Lin Ruoxi did much better than before, ranking tenth in the grade, which was already considered an exceptional performance.

After staring at the report card for a while, Tang Huaijin smiled, feeling a mix of emotions.

He packed his bag and left the classroom.

I followed my homeroom teacher to the Academic Affairs Office to pick up my admission notice for Qiangwei Noble High School. I can go there to register on Monday. The school will handle the student registration issues over the weekend.

With a smile, Tang Huaijin said goodbye to her homeroom teacher, whose eyes held a complex expression, and left the teaching building.

There aren’t many people worth remembering at school. After that incident, Tang Huaijin became the enemy of the girls, and the boys were afraid of being seen as accomplices if they stayed with him, so they avoided him like the plague.

After saying goodbye to the few friends he still kept in touch with, Tang Huaijin headed straight for the playground.

It was Friday, just after school. Boys and girls were walking in pairs on the playground. Teachers would patrol from Monday to Thursday, but on Fridays, these teenage couples could sneak off to take a walk on the playground.

After crossing the playground, Tang Huaijin sat on a stone bench in the small park next to it and stayed there quietly for a while.

There are very few people, and even those who do come are just passing by in a hurry. Most of the young couples who come here are rather nervous, so no one will bother them.

Tang Huaijin still remembers the blush on Lin Ruoxi’s pretty face and her misty eyes when they first got together, and the words she said with heartfelt joy.

”You’d better stay and stay by my side.”

Lin Ruoxi is truly a perfect girlfriend; she knows how to be charming and caring, and she never makes unreasonable demands.

Tang Huaijin liked her very much and took her home to meet his sister.

This was also the first time Tang Huaijin had brought someone home.

Then everything changed.

Tang Huaijin sighed, stood up, and left.

After he left, a figure with a ponytail flashed through the woods.
